The FSD software collects data about other vehicles on the road, pedestrians, objects, traffic lights, signs, and lanes. Using AI and machine learning FSD navigates the car through various traffic situations accordingly. The onboard computer selects the best options, in traffic, to get you to your designated destination safely.

FSD captures significant amounts of data and feeds it to the Tesla neural network.
The Data is analyzed, processed, then an FSD update is sent out to each Tesla EV over the air.

Tesla Releases FSD Beta To Everyone
Tesla has released FSD Beta to nearly all customers in the US and Canada, approximately 400,000. Customers in the US and Canada can now access FSD Beta functionality. This will increase the amount of Tesla FSD miles driven, and data captured. which in turn will improve FSD optimization.
The amount of Tesla FSD miles driven continue to grow exponentially.
FSD and What It Means For Tesla Stock Value
ARK Invest Director of Investment Tasha Keeney believes the the most significant milestone for the auto industry in the near future will be autonomous ridesharing, and Tesla with nearly a billion miles driven with FSD is way ahead.
Elon said that autonomous driving could be the biggest value increase of any asset in history. This will make Tesla the greatest company of all time.
