Tesla's Model Y made up almost two-thirds of the total sales.
Tesla European sales rose 97 percent in November to 31,820 units, largely because of the 260-percent surge in sales of the Tesla Model Y.
Earlier this year, Elon Musk Tesla CEO predicted that the Tesla Model Y would become the best selling car of 2023, including gas powered vehicles. That certainly looks possible at the moment as the Tesla Model Y dominated sales charts in Europe and other regions at the end of 2022.
Tesla Model Y is the big winner in Italia and Norway
Tesla Model Y set a record in Italia with a over 121,000 cars registered in November, up almost 14% Year-on-Year (YoY) from the less than 107,000 units in November 2021.
The Tesla Model Y has just smashed a huge sales record in Norway, reaching a volume unheard of since 1969. According to the official data, so far this year, nearly 17,000 new Tesla Model Y were registered in the country (16,921 as of December 22).
With Tesla Berlin, where the Tesla Model Y is manufactured, ramps up quickly, 2023 looks to be another record breaking year for Elon Musk and Tesla.
