The Europe electric vehicle sales winner for 2022 is Tesla, with record sales for the Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y.
In 2022 the Tesla Model Y was the best selling EV in Europe.
The following are the sales totals by model for 10 countries — Norway, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Ireland, and Finland.
The Tesla Model Y was Europe's number one BEV seller with 78,017 sales and Tesla Model 3 was the 3rd best seller with 49,645 sales in 2022. Here is a table of the Europe's top 20 models sold in 2022.

It’s clear a good Euro NCAP rating is seen by car manufacturers as critical to success in Europe. This can only mean better safety equipment and safer cars for European consumers all round, said Michiel van Ratingen, Euro NCAP’s Secretary General.”
Tesla sores highest safety rating
Euro NCAP announced the winners for 2022, The winners achieved the highest overall scores, based on their results for Adult Occupant Protection, Child Occupant Protection, Vulnerable User Protection and Safety Assist technologies.
Tesla Model Y achieved the highest score of 98% in Safety Assist of all the Electronic Vehicles tested.
