Elon Musk plans to give us a magical look through his kaleidoscope of Tesla innovation
The big question: What will Tesla & Elon reveal
There has been a lot of speculation about what new technical innovation Elon and his Tesla team will show us on Investor Day. This post will provide a glimpse at what the Band of Tesla Brothers community thinks will happen on Investor Day. I will also pull some thoughts about Tesla Investor Day from Mainstream Media (MSM).
How will Tesla contribute to the world having fully sustainable energy?
"Master Plan 3, the path to a fully sustainable energy future for Earth will be presented on March 1. The future is bright!” Musk wrote."
Will Elon & Tesla provide more detail about the its Megapack technology?
Farzad thoughts on Investor Day 3: "it will be about large scale manufacturing... Get
lots of stuff & make lots of stuff with it". The Gen 3 Platform & 4680 will be the stars.

A big Tesla statement from Elon about Energy indeed. Maybe it's about batteries
"Musk made a lofty promise of a “fully sustainable energy future for Earth” in yesterday’s tweet. This suggests Tesla is focused on the energy technology space. If this is true, Musk will provide some updates on it in Part 3 of the Master Plan and lay out the company’s long-term growth plans. Investor Place said."
Tesla might provide details on partnerships for mineral sources needed for them.
Elon will tell the world how he'll ramp up production to get to 10TwH by 2030.

Tesla's Competition Gap Is Widening
This observation from Adam Jonas ties closely to what might be revealed during the Investor Day on March 1. Tesla might reveal a next step-up for Tesla regarding new manufacturing efficiency with Tesla's next generation vehicle platform.
"Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas said: "Tesla stands to benefit from riding the cost curve down. Lessons from the past teach are that once a technology is industrialized, and heavily subsidized, it tends to destroy returns...But what about other players, legacy OEMs like Ford and GM, or even EV startups such as Rivian, Fisker and Lucid? If we’re to look at previous tech breakthroughs and the ensuing industrialization, companies that can manage costs in the most effective way tend to come out on top. “Tesla is already there,” says Jonas, “and the gap to the competition is widening."
The first to EV market move by Tesla puts them in a very commanding position.
The Tesla Model 2 will be designed for massive scalability and affordability.

Tesla Robotaxi info would be awesome. We definitely need more info on that.
"Robotaxis and the next-gen platform will for sure get more fleshed out during Musk’s presentation. Given his focus on scaling Tesla’s operations to extreme size, we should expect some mention of the long-promised $25,000 EV. And some mention of the company’s controversial Full Self-Driving system and how it will plan into Musk’s stilted vision of an autonomous future is all but guaranteed. The Verge said."
I hope we do get more info about the next Tesla EV. It will be game over if they do.
From Yahoo Finance: Here's what Tesla
fans might hear on Investor Day from Elon.
Cybertruck Production
Generation 3 Platform
The $25,000-$30,000 EV
Gigafactories Expansion
Lithium Mining Projects
Energy Storage - Megapacks
Yahoo Finance overview of Tesla Master Plan 3.
Is Elon trying to duplicate the genius of Henry Ford and make an EV for everyone?
"When Henry Ford made cheap, reliable cars people said, ‘Nah, what’s wrong with a horse?’ That was a huge bet he made, and it worked.” – Elon Musk."
Elon took a huge bet on Tesla, with his own money, and he's making it work big time before our very eyes. If he makes a $20K-$25K EV, Tesla will be unstoppable.
Good job - I really like this quick overview from InvestAnswers. It covers just about everything that's important for Tesla's future, both short term and long term.

This is the most important thing that sets Tesla apart from legacy auto.
"What really matters to accelerate a sustainable future is being able to scaleup production volume as quickly as possible. That is why Tesla engineering has transition to focus heavily on designing the machine that makes the machine -- Turning the factory itself into a product.” -said Elon Musk"
The machine that makes the machine is brilliant! So is: The best part is no part!

Talent is key to engineering a successful strategy for optimal performance. Just take a look at the profit per Tesla employee compared to Legacy Auto. That's no joke!
"Talent is extremely important. It’s like a sports team, the team that has the best individual player will often win, but then there’s a multiplier from how those players work together and the strategy they employ.” – Elon Musk"
An interesting Tesla prediction from the Limiting Factor, he could be right, but I think Optimus, the Tesla Bot, will be Elon's ultimate magnum opus. Only time will tell.

The Tesla Model Y California sales
milestone should not be taken lightly
For several years, Toyota has dominated not only California in car sales, but also
the entire United States. California leads the nation in innovation, it also, rightly or wrongly, leads the nation in many social norms. One of them being car brand bias.
Everyday that goes by, the brand bias in California is changing in the direction of Tesla. In fact, in January, the Tesla Model Y was the number one most sold car in California, a sales title that Toyota always won in the past. Tesla is the company with great products and that matters!
It usually takes a lot of advertising to build a brand, but Tesla does not advertise at all. None the less, Tesla is by far the best EV brand right now and before long they will surpass all others and become the number one auto brand in the entire world.
"Brand is just a perception, and perception will match reality over time. Sometimes it will be ahead, other times it will be behind. But brand is simply a collective impression some have about a product.”– Elon Musk"

The world is very quickly catching up to Elon and his vision for Tesla. With great products and his Master Plan 3 the Tesla brand will become the number one brand in history.
